Week 67: Occoquan River, Woodbridge, VA

 Feliz Lunes!!

This week was good!! I’m super tired lol, but we worked really hard!

We are still not teaching a whole ton of people, but we've been able to visit a lot of members this week, and we've seen Gods hand in everything.

Highlights from this week:

- On Friday we helped some members clean the chapel, we got it done really fast and then we all ate together afterwards. Our friend Diego came in the end to which was fun. Diego is such a funny guy, super awkward, but he is looking for a community to be a part of and we are really grateful that he came.

- A family in our ward was getting sealed together in the temple on Saturday, and they asked me to play the piano at their after party. They gave me the sheet music for a musical number they wanted me to do the day before the event, so I only had time to play it through a few times. But I made a commitment to myself that I would always say yes to anyone asking me to play the piano, and it turned our really good!! The spirit definitely helped me know what notes to play lol. It was a really special event though, and I'm glad I got to serve this family.

- We had 2 friends come to church on Sunday!!! Such a miracle because we've had no friend in church for the past few weeks. One of them was Mirella, the mom of Karen (one of my favorite members) and the other was Tael! He was a self reference from Facebook and he came with his son to church!! They are both so cool and have a lot of potential!

- Sunday night we were able to visit Karen and Kenneth and teach them about temples. They are members who were inactive for a really long time, but when they recently moved to the US, they decided that they needed a change for their family
Every since then they have been all in, and even got callings!! Now they are preparing to enter the temple so that they can be sealed together for eternity as a family. It was so special to be able to teach them about eternal families, and they are so excited to take this next step in their lives.

That's it for me!! This church is true!! Families can be forever together!!! Love you all!!
