Hey!
This week was great, we started a new transfer which is fun! My comp and I are staying together in our area, which I'm very grateful for, and I'm excited to start this transfer!!
One of my goals this transfer is to take more pictures with our friends and members. I definitely forgot to do it still this week, but we took a picture with Hermana Poccori!! She's so cool and has such an awesome conversion story. She's from Peru and specializes in like herbs and plants and she know how to use them all for medicine. She's awesome and she made us some really yummy soup:)
We had our last district council of the transfer, we have to drive to mount Vernon for it which is like 40 minutes away, but it's beautiful!! It's crazy that George Washington walked the very same grounds that we were walking. Cool stuff!
We're not really teaching anyone right now who is progressing, we extended a baptismal date to one of our friends but then he ghosted us. Our other friend is an old lady who has covid right now so we can't meet with her. Basically we've been really trying to focus on the members and helping them share the gospel. It was been fun growing relationships with them, and we've already had a few members tell us that they have references for us. I know that even if we don't seen any direct results, God is the one that works the miracles.
Other then that, I am learning everyday and I am so grateful for this opportunity that I have to strengthen my own conversion to Jesus Christ. I've been reflecting on my mission lately and on how I've changed and grown, and I think the biggest thing is that I have grown in my trust in God. I know that he has a plan for everything, he loves me perfectly, and I can have joy in any circumstance thanks to him.
I love this gospel and I am so grateful for the prophet Joseph Smith, the book of Mormon, president Nelson, temples, but most importantly Jesus Christ. I'm grateful that he has paid the price for me, and because of him I know I don't have to be perfect, I just have to try my best.
I love you all
<3 Hermana Crofts
