Week 68: Occoquan River, Woodbridge, VA

 Hola, feliz lunes!!

This week was a good one, I'm loving the fall weather and the rain, it really reminds me of home <3

We had entrevistas with president on Thursday, and he gave me some really good advice for how I can finish my mission strong these next 2 months. I'm excited for what's to come and all that God has prepared for me!

We have been talking to so many people recently, and Friday we found a really cool guy who went to our church 7 years ago! He even told us that he visited the temple and he remembers the story of Joseph smith and the book of Mormon.

We also found another guy named Jairo who was swinging a golf club without a ball in his front yard, so obviously I asked him if he was going golfing. He didn't get my joke and he wasn't super interested in coming to church... BUT I had a prompting to invite him to voleibol that night and he wanted to come!

We had a volleyball activity at the church Friday night, and we had 3 friends come!! My comp and I taught a little lesson before we started playing, and we taught about the gospel of Jesus Christ. It's so cool how my understanding of the doctrine of Christ has deepened so much on my mission, and I feel the spirit testify to me of the truthfulness of the gospel everything I share it with others.

Volleyball was fun, I'm not the best at it lol. But one of our friend Tael brought his son with him so I played catch with him most of the time everyone else was playing.

We had no friends respond to us when we were confirming for church, but Tael came with his son!! It's was such a miracle and I know that if we work hard and do our part, God can make up for the rest.

I love this gospel so much, I know this church is true and I know that we have a living prophet here on the earth!!

I'm so excited to listen to our prophet and his Apostles speak this weekend, it will definitely be a spiritual highpoint of my week.

I love you all, I hope you have a great week!!
