Week 14: Stirling, VA

Hola!! I don't really remember what happened this week because it honestly goes by so fast, but here are some highlights:

We had class de inglés on Wednesday, and they are always so funny. There's these two older ladies that come and sit in the back and they are always cracking jokes and goofing around.

On Friday, we had zone conference!!  The Spanish zone is actually the best and I learned a lot and had a lot of fun!! We talked about charity and how we need to see everyone as God would see them. I definitely helped change my perspective, and I'm excited to apply it into everyday life.

After zone conference we had to walk to the plaza(because we still don't have a car lol) and it started downpouring/windy/hailing and we got absolutely soaked. It was hilarious though because we just had one little umbrella and our jackets, but it didn't  help at all. We stopped for shelter at the nearest Safeway, where we had to go to the bathroom and literally wring our our clothes. It was super funny because we had to go to ward choir practice right after and we looked like we just jumped in a pool hahaha.

Saturday, also rained the whole day, so when we were in a lesson with some of our friends in McDonald's when it started downpouring and we were stranded with them for over hour.

On Sunday, church was great!! 7 of our recent converts came to church which was honestly a miracle!! After church we got a random call from a guy who was asking for a Nancy. We had to explain how we weren't Nancy, but that we were actually missionaries and we invited him in church!! He seemed really interested so we ended up teaching him a little bit! He did mention how he wants an American wife, but we looked past that and we ended up finding him!!

Love you all, Tengan una feliz semana<3<3<
