Week 37: Little River Ward, Annandale, VA

 Hola feliz dìa de preparación!!

Wow this week was actually the busiest week that I've had on my mission so far! I'm really tired, but its all worth it (and I took a two hour nap this morning)

To start out, we had 3 exchanges this week with the hermanas in our zone. They were so fun and it's super cool to be able to connect with all of the hermanas and be able to give them advice. Sometimes I feel like a therapist during the exchanges lol. But I'm learning so much from them and I'm excited for the exchanges that we have this week!

On Friday, ELDER RENLUND came to our mission and we had a mission devotional with him! It was so awesome, and my first time shaking an Apostle of the lords hand. He was so down to earth and funny, and I felt the spirit so strong when he testified of Jesus Christ. I don't have any photos yet from that, but we took a mission photo with him!

On Saturday we had an exchange with the stl trainers, which are basically just sister APs. It was so interesting to see how the English areas work and I learned a lot! It was also fun because Sister Jones is from my home stake, so it was like a little piece of home.

Sunday was great, we had 4 friends in church, and they seem really cool! We were a little disappointed because our friend Mariana who has a baptismal date didn't come to church, which means we will have to push back her baptism, but we are praying for her and her dad Roly that they can be baptized! We actually extended the baptismal date for Mariana in our first contact with her and she has been so prepared to get baptized.

Sunday night we has a come unto Christ devotional, and it was awesome! Basically they had a few recent converts share there conversion story and how they came to know the church and be baptized. I played the piano at it, which was super awesome when we all sang called to serve together in the end.

ALSO my friend Andres from my last area came to the devotional, and it was so good to see him! I talked to him about baptism, and he asked me "hypothetically" if he were to get baptized, if I would be able to come.

That night, we heard from the hermanas in my old area that he told them right after the devo that he wants to get baptized!!! It's so awesome to see all of our hard work and mighty prayers from him pay off, and I know that God listen to and answers our prayers. He said he wants to get baptized as soon as possible, so I'm not sure if I will actually be able to go because we have another busy week in front of us, but I'm just so happy that he is going to get baptized!!!! God is so good, and it's moments like these that make all of the hard moments so worth it.

This week is another busy week, but I'm excited for all that I will learn and for the miracles that we will see.

I know that Jesus Christ lives. He loves us. I know that the church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints is the church of Jesus Christ. He is the head of the church and I'm so grateful for the prophets and Apostles that he has called on the earth to be his representatives. The book of Mormon is true!! Read it everyday!! I know that if you are looking for direction in your life, the book of Mormon is the best place to search.

I love you all so much, until next week<3
