¡Buenas tardes a todos!
This week has been so hectic and has felt like a month long, but somehow I made it to Monday!
Ok so we had transfers this week. I have only been in my area in Old Town for two transfers, so I was so sure that I was going to stay there for another transfer. But God always has a different plan.
We had exchanges with the STLs (sister training leaders) this Wednesday on Valentines day, and also it was my one year since I got my mission call!! Super fun day! That night I was with hermana Bolander, and I got a call asking if I would be STL for next transfer. I was shocked and I was also really sad because I didn't want to leave my friends and my area.
So later that night when transfer boards were released, I was STL with hermana Bolander in an area called Little River. It was honestly so said because I was planning on staying in Old Town and help our friend Andres get baptized, and I was also really sad to leave my comp hermana Packer.
The next day I said good by to all of my friends and our recent converts in Old Town, and then Friday morning we had transfers. I'm now in Annandale Virginia, and it's honestly a really cute area. I'm with hermana Bolander who is from California, and she is a great missionary so I'm so excited to learn from her.
I'm really excited to be an STL, but I'm not gonna lie it's a little stressful. We have 6 companionships of hermanas in our zone so we will be having 3 to 4 exchanges every week. But I'm excited to learn so much this transfer, and also to help the hermanas in my zone.
I'm excited for what's to come and I know that God has a plan for me. Right when I got on my mission I had a plan for what I wanted to do on my mission, but I'm learning to trust in God and that he knows exactly what I need to learn and grow, and to become the disciple of Christ that he knows I can be.
