Hola!! Every day of this week has gone by super fast, but also this week has gone by pretty show so I'm not really sure how that works out lol.
We have so many awesome friends here, every day I realize how lucky I am to be in this area. On Thursday we got a notification that we got a referencia from a member who is not even in our mission. We called the number, and this lady named Brenda answered. She explained to us how she was baptized back when she lived in Honduras, but now she wants her husband and son to be baptized as well!! She asked if we could come over sometime teach them the lessons so that they can baptized!! This was honestly a miracle because we felt like we did nothing to deserve this, but God really values our efforts.
Also, this sweet lady from our ward Hermana Martinez took us out to lunch and we went to this yummy Peruvian food place. We have a lot of Peruvian friends, so I'm glad that I finally got to see what was so good about their food!! I got this really good fried rice dish, and she also bought us some little cookies to take home. It was so good!!
Our ward here is really the best. Everyone is so welcome to our amigos that come to church, and also so willing to join us in lessons whenever we ask.
Funny thing this week, there is a hermano who's name is Aldo in our ward who's been baptized for about four years, how is not doing the things he should be doing, and so we've been meeting with him trying to help him get back on the path. Anyways, we had a lesson prepared, but it ended up being him talking about how he relates so much to Mowgli from the jungle book and how he feels like an outsider. Literally 30 minutes of this comparison...
Anyways we love Aldo hahaha
