Week 11: Stirling, VA

Hola Familia y amigos!! Cómo están??

This week has been a good one!

This Tuesday we had exchanges with the other Hermanas in our ward, and it was so fun!! It was my companions and the other Hermana's 1 year anniversary on the mission, so we went out for lunch, got a cake and had a little celebration! We also had a service project that day, and helped out at in class de ingles, so it was a super fun, busy day!

We have had soo many lessons planned for this week, but I think that 95% were canceled or we were stood up. Though it is disappointing, we took it this week as a sign that God wants us to focus more on our finding. So we got to work, and ended up finding 9 people this last week! The highest we've found since I've been on my mission!

Also another (not so) fun thing that happened this week... We have a mouse in our apartment!!! We love him so much and I even named him crackers. His favorite thing to do it come out in the middle of the night and leave little presents on the floor!! He is so thoughtful.

In all seriousness, being a missionary is hard work. I wake up in the morning wishing I could sleep for five more hours, but I know that it is all worth it. The love I feel for the people here is indescribable, and I know that God loves them all 100× more then I do. I've seen so many small miracles in my short time here, that help me know that God is in the details of everything.

I love you all soo much!! Also I really appreciate reading all of your emails!

Wish me luck with the mouse!

Not excited to have a mouse in the house!
