Hey all!
This week was good, I got a little sick, but I'm doing better now!
We didn't have p-day on Monday because we went to the temple on Saturday, but it was great, we ended up having a really productive day and met lots of new people. We went to a members house and they made us tortas Mexicanas, they were soooo yummy. (I always forget to take pictures pictures with the people that we visit, I'll try to do better next week)
On Tuesday, we had a blitz exchange. So basically I was in the elders area with Hermana bolander, and we were on bikes! My first time riding a bike on the mission, but it was fun, we met some really cool people. I was so sore afterwards though lol, those hills were rough.
Wednesday, we had district council, and then we had service after. We helped hand out food to people in need, it was awesome!
On Thursday, we had interview with President MacPherson. I'm so grateful that he's my mission president, he's great. He called me a "seasoned missionary" which was weird to hear, starting next transfer I'll be the oldest missionary in the mission...
Anyways... we had interviews in my old area in Alexandria, so of course we had to take a pit stop at the George Washington masonic memorial and take some pics. Love that place.
The rest of the weekend I was a little sick so it was kinda slow, but church was great and I love this ward! None of our friends came to church, we're having a hard time finding people who are ready to progress. But I know that there are prepared people in this area and that I'm here in Occoquan for a reason.
Also, this transfer went by so fast, we get transfer news tomorrow, I should be staying here.. but I guess you'll find out next week!!
I know that God lives. I've seen to many miracles in my life to deny that. Im grateful that he loves me perfectly and unconditionally.
Chau!
