Week 40: Little River Ward, Annandale, VA

Hola buenas tardes!!

This week flew by, but it was really great!

On Tuesday we had interviews with president Crankshaw, and part of my calling as a Sister training leader is that week have to giving trainings for the rest of the missionaries in our zone. I was really scared to do that, especially cexchangesause I don't love public speaking, but we taught our zone about finding Joy in the work. I don't know if the other missionaries learned anything, but I always feel like when I'm teaching I always learn the most.

Finding joy in the work is something that has been on my mind for awhile now, especially because a lot of the hermanas that we work with are struggling with it. Sometimes it's easy to feel like we are not doing enough or we are not good enough, but that's okay! Honestly, this is such a great work that we are so under qualified to do it. But God knows that. That's why all he asks is for us to try. If we try our best, he will make up for the rest.

On Wednesday, we visited the district council in Arlington which was fun, we also had to give another training lol.

We had three other  this week, which were all fun in their own way. We also have eaten so. much. food.

Something about this mission, is that we don't really do member meals, so I've really only eaten at a members house a few times. But for some reason this past week we got invited over three nights in a row to eat with a member. The food was fine (for the most part) but they give us the biggest portions ever and I always have to pretend I'm in a food eating competition to not through everything up. We did have lasagna with peaches and raisins in it though, that was very interesting...

The work is good!! We are teaching some awesome friends! We really want to have a baptism in the month of march, and we're not sure how it's going to happen, but we have faith! Please pray for our friends Miriam, Mariana, Jose, and Juan!!

Love you all!!

I hope you have a great week,

<3 Hermana Crofts
