Week 26: Alexandria, VA

 Hola a todos!!

This week went by so fast (as always), but it was a good one!! I'm starting my fourth week here in Alexandria, and I'm definitely getting the hang of things around here.

This week we found some really awesome people, and we also had a lesson with this 8 year old girl named Leah who is going to get baptized in January! She is so cute and so excited to be baptized, she just hasn't been to church yet, so please pray that she will be able to come next week with her mom!!

We also met up with a member who's name is Betty, and helped her with a ticket she needed to clear up because she doesn't speak English super well. It was super fun, and she is this cute little lady from Bolivia. She got a ticket for driving 40mph in a 25mph, and she said, "I wasn't even going that fast!" Haha. I love old Latina ladies they are the funniest. After we helped her, she took us out to eat and bought us Crumbl cookies it was so sweet.

I'm really loving the ward and the people here in Old Town!! We also have been seeing so many miracles lately, that has really taught me that good sees and values all of our efforts, even if they may seem so small. We had 7 friends come to church on sunday which was a huge miracle. God is in the little details of everything, and that's something I've really come to learn recently.

Love you all!!! Sorry if I haven't responded to your email I've had no time!!)
