Week 15: Stirling, VA

Okay so I know I say every email that I never remember what happened this week, but I actually don't remember haha.

We had exchanges this Friday which were super fun!! We still don't have a car, so we are also with the STLs whenever we need to be driven everywhere, so it kinda feels like we're in a quad companionship instead of just the two of us. But we had exchanges with the other Hermanas and it was so fun!! We had some really good talks, and also talks to some really awesome people.

Saturday, was a day of miracles. We were really running low on food and money this past week, so we where basically planning on rationing out our food until we could go shopping again the next p-day. But this day we got fed SO MUCH. Like no one ever gives us food so it is really such a miracle. For lunch some members in our ward invited us over to eat some soup. Then for dinner we went out to eat Honduran food with an amigo. After dinner we ran into another member and she bought us Inca Cola. Then we stopped by and talked to the older Peruvian lady in front of her house, and she gave us yogurt and strawberries. Really was so awesome and filled my heart with so much gratitude. God will provide.

Sunday night was hard. We basically walked around for three hours and didn't talk to anyone because it was rainy and dark, and there was no one outside or answering there door. But still, God has a plan and we ended up finding one person that night.

This past week I've felt so much gratitude for my family and my friends and for everything that God has done for me. I know that God is in the details of everything. There are no coincidences!!!

I love you all sooo much
