Wow this week went by so fast, I only have about a week and a half left then I'm out of training... that's so crazy!!
I didn't send out an email last week because I was so busy, but our friend Abraham got baptized last sunday!! The baptism was so special, He's the best!!
After his baptism though, I got really sick. Being sick as a missionary is hard. But I got a priesthood blessing Wednesday night, and I started feeling much better after that. I don't really remember much that we did the beginning of the week because I was sick, but we had a fun district activity and exchanges with the sister training leaders!
This weekend was general conference!! It was actually one of my favorite weekends on the mission so far, I love getting to listen to the words of the prophets and Apostles. We went to two member's houses for the sessions, one of them was the bishop and his house is crazy. Like an actual mansion with gargoyles and statues and it looked like something from the 1800s. It was awesome.
My favorite part of conference though was when the temple in Vancouver Washington (my hometown) was announced!! I'm so excited to go to the temple, and I know that this is the greatest work there could ever be.
I'm so lucky and blessed to be in this area, I love Virgina and latinos so much, and I'm so grateful for this sacred calling that God trusted with me.
