Buenas tardes!!
This week has been good, we've been praying everyday and working hard to find someone who is ready to be baptized this transfer, and its cool to recognize the little miracles everyday.
We have a few friends with a lot of potential right now, and one of them is Pedro!!
We received his information from a Facebook Ad on Friday, and he committed to coming to church that Sunday!
We confirmed again with him Saturday night and he said he was still planning on coming!
He came to church 20 minutes early which was awesome, we were able to talk to him and some members and he felt so much more comfortable. After in Sunday school, he introduced himself and said that he felt so welcome and loved here and he was so grateful for all of the new friends he was making. I'm so grateful to be able to help people find exactly what they are looking for through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our other friends that we are teaching are a family of 3, Rudy and Xilonem, their daughter Sharon, and they have another baby on the way! They are such a special family and have expressed interest in baptism, they just want to learn more first.
I have seen so many small miracles and answer to my prayers this week, I would like to share one with you all.
Earlier this week I was feeling kinds down and overwhelmed, we have a goal of having a baptism this transfer, but no one seemed to be ready yet. So I prayed, and I asked God to help me know that I'm doing what he needs me to do right now. I felt prompted to read in Ether 12 and I fell upon this verse 37 that really struck me:
"And it came to pass that the Lord said unto me: If they have not charity it mattereth not unto thee, thou hast been faithful; wherefore, thy garments shall be made clean. And because thou hast seen thy weakness thou shalt be made strong, even unto the sitting down in the place which I have prepared in the mansions of my Father."
I received a clear answer from God that he is proud of me and all that I am doing, because I have been faithful. And although I have so many weaknesses, I know that he is turning them into strengths. As long as I am faithful and working hard, it doesn't matter what the results are or if people accept our message. God accepts me and my efforts.
I love you all, have a great week!!
