Hola!!!
It's been 10 days since I last had pday, and this week has been so eventful.
I hit 1 year on my mission on Wednesday!! So wild. We went to manassas to do a training in our other district in our zone, and it was fun!! We then had an exchange with the hermanas in our zone, we went to red Robin for dinner, and I saw a turtle. Great day.
On Thursday, we had a lesson with our friend Milton, and he accepted a baptismal date!! He is going to get baptized June 20th, and we are so excited for him. He has such a big desire to learn and grow closer to God, and he is a great example to me.
After we meet with Milton, we came home for the night and saw that there was 3 men on drugs just chilling in our stairwell. Long story short, we called the police, and it was a fun experience!!

On Friday we had a mini mission with the youth in our ward. It was so cute, and we went out with two young women. They helped us teach in our lessons, and afterwards they both said that they are so excited to serve missions!! I love the youth in this ward, they are amazing.
On Sunday we had 4 friends at church, and we had another lesson with Milton to plan more things for his baptism!!
My mission has been focusing so much recently on helping our friends build their faith in Jesus Christ. By doing so, I've come to notice that my own faith and joy has grown.
I'm so grateful for this experience that I have as a missionary, and I'm excited for these six months to come, and all that I am going to learn.
