Happy Easter!
This week was transfer week, and nothing got changed on my end. Hermana Bolander and I are still STLs together in good ol' Annandale Virginia.
Here's some highlights from this week:
- I hit 300 days as a missionary!!
- I gave a talk in church on Easter Sunday, my first time giving a 10 minutes talk in spanish, but it went really well! It's crazy how much I have grown in my spanish my 10 months of learning it.
- We had exchanges this week in Woodbridge! I met this 12 year old kid named Anthony who came up to us to roast our church outfits. He was so funny and I invited him to church and he really wanted to go!! He said that everyone in school that he was a bad kid, but he wants to be a good kid. So cute.
- We had a noche de hogar Friday night in our church building with the ward members and our friends. It was the night right after transfers, so all of the plans we had for it were out the window. We ended up having to improvise the spiritual thought and the game afterwards the moment of. It was stressful l, but turned out good and we had 7 friends come!
- This week we have really been working hard to make sure thar our friends came to church for Easter, and after putting in our work, we put it in the lords hands, and we ended up having 9 of our friends at church, which is the most we've had in a long time.
I'm really excited about the work in my area right now, things are picking up and we are meeting so many amazing people. We are really working hard to help one of our friends be baptized this transfer, so please pray that we can meet that goal!
I'm so grateful for the opportunity that I have to dedicate all of my time to serving God, it's tough work, but it is always rewarding.
I love you all!! I hope you all had a great Easter!
