Week 29: Alexandria, VA

This week on the mission has been a busy one, and i also got sick on Friday, so not the most eventful. BUT through it all there are always miracles!

I don't feel like typing a lot, but heres a part of an email that I sent my mission president today:

We saw a crazy miracle that night! In the morning for planning, I felt like we should go visit this one referencia that we got but haven't had much contact with. And then at night when we were going to go visit him, we realized that we didn't have his house number, only the street that he lived on. So we decided to do a treasure Hunt, which me and hna. Packer love to do, where you say a mighty prayer before that God will lead us to them, and then you listen to the spirit and knock the first house you feel like you should. We knocked the door and it wasnt him, but we asked the lady if she knew if any of her neighbors speaked spanish. She gave us references of 4 houses so we went to go knock them! Just as we left the ladys house, we see a man walking in our direction on the street. We asked him if he knew a Jose, and he said "im jose" we were shocked and he was too. We said that we were looking for him and he that it was so crazy how we found him. He told us that he didnt even live in the house that he put his address, its his sisters house and he just puts her address for everything. He thought that the chances of us finding him was crazy, and we said it was no coincidente and that god wanted us to find him. After talking to him for a little. He said "how about we meet tomorrow and talk more?" We were so exited!! The next day we had the lesson and it went really good! In the end he told us that he spent the whole night thinking about how we ran into eachother, and how when he was at his sisters house he was going to leave 30 minutes earlier, but he felt like he should stay, and thats what made him run into us at that exact moment. God is so amazing!!!!

We have transfers this week, I hope I stay here with my comp but I guess I let you all know what happens next week! This transfer has been amazing and I've learned so much and made so many great friends.
