Hola!! Sorry for the short email last week, i was having to much fun at Arlington Cemetery lol.
Last p-day we went to the Arlington cemetery! It was so beautiful and the spirit was definitely super strong there. We also got to watch the changing of the guard, and had a good view of the Washington monument, the Lincoln memorial and more of DC! DC isn't in our mission boundaries, so it was super cool to be able to see it from a distance!
On Wednesday, we had district council and then we did exchanges!! It was super fun and my district is the best! It's also fun because we have the zone leaders, sister training leaders, and a district leader in our district so they are all awesome missionaries. I went on two half day exchanges with Hermana Rapp, then Hermana Remington, and it was super cool to see how different people approach things, and I honestly learned a lot!
This whole week has been crazy hot and humid. Over the weekend we kept on getting emails or alerts about a heat advisory to stay inside, which is funny cause we're walking and have to go outside lol. So it's definitely taken a toll on us the past few days walking in the super hot humid weather 30+ minutes to just knock on one door, and then sometimes the person doesn't even answer. But I know God will bless us for our efforts.
Finally, we have a baptism this Sunday for la Familia Tellos!! We weren't sure if it was going to happen, but we had a lesson with them last night, and then they had their baptismal interview, and the passed!! The family is Natalia, her daughter Emily, and the her two little boys Julian and Alonzo. Julian and Alonzo constantly full of energy, and when we talk to them it's like herding cats, but they are such sweet boys and are so excited to get baptized! I'm so excited for then and to help them grow their testimonies even more!
Even though it's hot, I'm constantly sweaty, my legs are sore from walking, and I still can't understand most of the Spanish, I know that this is where I'm supposed to be right now. I know that God has a plan for me, and he loves me and all of us so much. Estoy muy agradicida por la opportunitdad a ser una misionera. Estoy muy agradicida por mi familia y amigos <3
Los amo <3 <3 <3
