¡Hola!
This week was my last full week at the CCM!!! I'm so excited to get out in the mission field next week!! Although i love my district and will miss them so much, the same schedule everyday and the food is something I will not miss lol.
Because I'm leaving so soon, I feel like this week has flown by super fast and I don't really remember much but here are some highlights:
On Sunday, my whole district sang a musical number for church! I played the piano and they sang "Yo sé que vive mi Señor" I also had to give a talk the same Sunday in Spanish, so it was a little nerve wracking, but I think it went good!
This week was full of lota of Spanish, lots of practices, lots of lessons, and lots of studying. Even though my brain feels dead, I definitely learned so much this week.
My favorite part of the week was how we got to go to the Mexico city temple yesterday!! We got to do sealings and endowments, and the spirit was so strong! It was also interesting having to do everything in Spanish, and it definitely helped me not fall asleep. We also went to the visitor center there and took some cute pics!! The visitor center was one of the best ones I've seen for sure!!
Spiritual thought of the week: Whenever a scripture is mentioned in class or by someone else more then once I know it is important for ne to know. This week a scripture that was talked about a few times was in D&C 122:8, "The Son of Man hath descended below them all. Art thou greater than he?" This scripture is so humbling to me because whenever I'm going though a trial or a hard time, Its a great reminder that Jesus Christ has felt it all and worse. It also is a reminder to me to be grateful for every thing I have in my life.
Anyway, my email isn't the longest, but hopefully next time I have some fun stuff cause I'm going to be in DC!! I'm so excited for what's to come, and I know that no matter what god will always be by my side.
